Transportation of cats in the European Union takes place in the door-to-door system. As breeders of Neva Masquerade cats, we know perfectly well how animals should be transported. We want the cat to have a relative peace and adequate conditions of transport - in particular, the transporter and air-conditioned vehicle selected properly for the size of the cat.

Air transport (in the passenger compartment) is also possible after arranging the details.

Transport to the USA

We offer cat transport to the United States of America (USA) to airports in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and Denver. The transport takes place in the passenger compartment - the cat flies with a courier.

In addition, we offer door-to-door transportation in Colorado.

For an additional fee, determined individually, it is possible to transport door-to-door to any place in the USA.

Preparing the cat for transport

Here are some tips on how to prepare our cat for transport:

we help determine which equipment for transport will be the most appropriate - you will probably need to buy a transporter, harness, or other protection,
a few days before transport, reduce stress and a sense of strangeness by placing your favorite blanket and kitty toy in the transporter,
before traveling, it is mandatory to get the cat used to the new transporter, the easiest way is to put him at home for free exploration,
plan your trip so that it is as short as possible,
include time and hygiene interruptions when giving time,
remember that when traveling, the cat should have access to food and fresh water,
do not overfeed the cat before traveling - make sure that it caters to its physiological needs before leaving.

Important documents

In order to transport a cat abroad safely and without unnecessary interference, it is necessary to prepare a cat - a microchip and documents. The most important of them are:

1. Passport - issued by an authorized veterinarian. The passport is issued on the spot (if the animal was vaccinated against rabies a minimum of 21 days before), and the cost of issue varies from 20 - 50 USD.

2. Certificate from the Poviat Veterinary Officer on the state of health of the cat being transported

Specific requirements in countries outside the European Union and on the islands - England, Ireland are available on the website Chief Veterinary Inspectorate.
